Convention Training

There are a lot of questions among newer delegates but also seasoned convention-goers about the March 2 convention. And it is no surprise, as this is a novel, first of it’s kind process to award delegates for our Republican Presidential nominee. With the presidential primary right around the corner, your D2 Team is taking a proactive step to ensuring the March 2 Convention is efficient, collaborative, and successful.

We will be conducting a training and “Mock Convention” for county chairs and lead volunteers. It is our hope that each county will send at least one, preferably 3-5, individuals. Participants will learn the rules and take an active part in the Mock Convention. From there, participants are encouraged to take back to their counties what they learned and be able to assist their fellow delegates at the March 2 convention.
