Welcome to the MIGOP Newsletter!

Each week, the Michigan Republican Party sends important information about what is happening within the party, state, and nation and how you can get involved.

Hello:As if we needed further proof that the Left is interfering in the 2024 election, last week, a New York jury ordered President Donald Trump to pay $83.3 million to E. Jean Carroll in a civil defamation case. This is an outrage for many reasons, not least of which is the blatant injustice to a true patriot—and innocent man—and to real victims of sexual assault. The ongoing lawfare to destroy the reputation, person, and candidacy of President Trump demonstrates what we are up against, and why we must win resoundingly this year, not only for the presidency, but also at all levels of local, state, and federal government. Local elections are the most important guardians to our freedom. Our model is to strengthen counties with the Good Neighbor Program. In the past, we have lacked a sufficient ground game.

We are also partnering with Turning Point Action to implement a robust ballot chasing program. Remember, ballot harvesting is illegal in Michigan. Though I am no fan of mail-in voting except for the elderly, handicapped, military, and individuals who cannot vote in person, we must win at ballot chasing especially for low propensity voters. Many people, unfortunately, lack the political will to ensure they vote in person, so we must ensure those individuals cast their ballots for all Republican candidates. If we dont, those low propensity voters will vote Democrat and we cant have that.
Much is at stake. Please join me and the real Michigan Republican Party as we fight for systemic election reform in Michigan and, through our Good Neighbor Program
, find, recruit, and elect America First candidates to office.
In Liberty,
Kristina Karamo
Chairwoman

Royal Oak Recount Update

On January 24, Plaintiff William Harrison’s attorney filed a 79-page response to the defendants’ motion for summary disposition. He is suing the Oakland County Board of Canvassers and the Clerk of Royal Oak for their refusal to investigate evidence of possible voter disenfranchisement discovered in a recount of Proposal B—ranked choice voting—in the November 7, 2023 Royal Oak election. More than a dozen voters have signed affidavits attesting to having voted, but their names are not listed in the city’s official, certified List of Voters. Inexplicably, the bipartisan Oakland County Board of Canvassers has, thus far, refused to investigate.

Has Your Representative Signed the Election Integrity Pledge?

The Election Integrity pledge is a resolution calling on candidates and election officials to do their part in helping clean up the voter rolls in time for the 2024 general election. Chairwoman Kristina Karamo and the founders of Check My Vote were the first to sign. Call your representative. Ask them to sign the Pledge. If they won’t, ask WHY NOT?

CORRECTION to the January 22, 2024 e-newsletter regarding the CMV/MIGOP partnership update: a CMV team member has filed criminal charges, not the MIGOP.

Through the Good Neighbor Program, go to your county clerk and find out how many delegate seats are open. Recruit hard-working Republican patriots to fill those seats to be elevated in February. Call all of the America First delegates to make sure that they are going to show up to your February 15 county convention. Train them how to get on the county slate. Then, let us show up March 2 and WIN!!!
